It's pretty bare bones but gets the job done. My main need is as best integration as possible accross all my platforms if possible.
The only one I know of at the moment is 1Password (which I know also offers to create random password for you online) but I was wondering if I can get some insight from this sub on other options. I'm hardly ever prompted to create a secure password and sometimes I'm not even prompted to enter my saved password from a site I know I saved one for.Īnyways, all of this kind of makes me feel like my passwords are all over the place/ are a mess and I've been thinking of consolidating into a password manager that I can use on all platforms regardless of what/ how I'm trying to sign in. Safari also suffers from the same issues that Firefox does although much less. The reason I use Apple's Keychain as well is because I use an iPhone so login info when using Apps gets saved in their manager so I have some passwords in Firefox but others in Keychain and some on both I run into the same issue with Apple's password manager although the integration is a lot better so I run into it much less but I can't use it on Firefox when on Mac. Sometimes instead of opening a browser, the software will I guess open a "mini browser" that only connects to their site for the sake of creating an account which Firefox does not pick up on.įor some reason, when updating a password, it creates a whole new enty instead of just updating the already existing entry with the new password (or email) so I have a ton of random passwords that don't work/ no longer say what they are from. Additionally, that only works on the web, it doens't work when creating a password on software I just downloaded.

I use both Mac and Windows and my main browser on both is Firefox although on Mac I do occasionally use Safari (I notice it's lighter on battery so I use it when I can't find/ forgot my charger) Sorry if my question is a bit weird but basically what I am looking for is some pasword manager that will integrate well or at least better than what I use now and help me consolidate my passwords in one spot.
